Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon Review

This is more like it, after having to sit through Hellbound I popped this movie in and instantly felt better. This is not going to be a long review because there is not much to look into with this movie. It is a fun, bombastic, and over the top. Everything you want from a great summer movie and nothing more. The acting is serviceable with Shia, Rosie, and the rest of the cast doing their jobs. The special effects are incredible and the story does its job. Michael Bay does not get the credit he deserves, he knows exactly the type of movie he is making and does it better than just about anyone in Hollywood. He does not pretend to be making an Oscar contender, he knows that he is making a mindless action movie and he goes as big as he can with it. The effects sequences are just phenomenal, and my favorite scene in the movie is when Soundwave is cutting a skyscraper in half with most of the cast inside. It is hard to describe and should be seen to get the best experience. This is the go big or go home movie of the summer and it passed with flying colors and I wish they would continue with the series. But is this is the final chapter then they went out with a bang.
