Horrible Bosses Review

I just wanted to say this is a hilarious movie. Every part of the movie is hilarious and that is a testament to both the director and the amazing cast that was put together. This could stand up to some of the best comedies of all time in terms of laugh for laugh comparisons. This will eventually be considered a cult comedy classic due to the amount of laughs in this movie and the re-watchability of the movie. This is on par with Bridesmaids and The Hangover as the best comedies of the last 5 years.

All of the leads in this movie are fantastic and each has the potential to carry a movie on their own. Charlie Day is probably the breakout star of this movie and is having a career upswing due to this movie and his starring role on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. He brings a kind of manic energy that is very captivating on screen. It also happens that he is extremely funny because he can deliver both physical comedy and standard jokes. Jason Sudeikis comes in a close second in the movie and he is most likely going to go on and star in a lot more high profile comedies in the next few years. The other leads are also great and Jennifer Aniston finally decided to try in a movie and is amazing in her role. If she actually put this effort into any of the other movies she is in, it will make the movies that much better. I really hope she starts to take on more non romantic comedy roles in the future because she has amazing potential. This is a movie that I feel pretty much hit every joke they aimed for, given that I watched the unrated version and I haven't seen the standard version so I am not exactly sure of the differences in the versions of the movies. This is one of those movies that is really laugh out loud funny, and there are parts in this movie that made me laugh harder than most movie I have ever seen. There is a part towards the beginning of the movie that involves the proposition of handjobs in the bathroom of a bar and it may be one of the funniest things I have ever heard in my life.

It is also great that there might be a sequel to this movie but I hope it does not turn out like the Hangover II which means it would essentially be a remake of the first film with the same actors but in a different location. Overall, I would say this is a must watch film if you like raunchy comedies. This will leave you smiling long after you finish the movie
